Tesla has become known for its innovations designing and building full electric vehicles and the Model X segways into the luxury SUV category. With only a few noted competitors around, the Model X has a lot to show for itself.One unique feature is the 'falcon-wing' rear passenger doors which open up rather than out. This gives the Model X a large side opening for easy entry/exit of both passengers and cargo.
There were only two trim options, both closely equipped, but the Plaid trim utilizes 3-electric motors increasing the output to an insane 1,020 HP. It also added 'Torque Vectoring', which automatically adjusts power to each individual wheel to improve overall handling.
Based upon information from Tesla, the maximum range on a full charge is between 311-333 miles.
The exterior is uniquely Tesla, boxy and sharp contours which define the brand. The Magnetic Silver Metallic (gray) exterior has almost a matte finish but is attractive and free of damage.
All four tires easily have ample tread for daily driving either in the city or highway.
As expected in this classification, the interior is very plush and welcoming.
