When Ford re-introduced the Thunderbird as a coupe, it built it upon the same platform as the luxurious Lincoln LS.
For comfort, the 2002 Thunderbird has a fully independent suspension that utilizes a short-long arm design with aircraft-grade aluminum for weight reduction.
It is powered by a 3.9L V8 engine and a 5-speed automatic transmission. It has plenty of get up and go with 252 HP and 267 lb-ft. of torque.
The 2002 Thunderbird is considered to be a roadster, not a sports car. It does have the bolt-on hardtop but can easily be converted into a convertible.
The interior is near pristine in both look and condition. The 'Thunderbird tuck and roll' leather seats are both comfortable and adjust easily for any driver/passenger.
The exterior is striking as both the paint and body have no damage and below normal use noted, especially for the model year.
All four tires are primed for daily driving, yet we'd expect this to be a weekend cruiser that is sure to turn heads.
