• Residual Value: When you visit our spacious showroom to explore our current inventory, you will want to know how much that vehicle will be worth when the lease ends. The higher the residual value, the lower your lease payment. When leasing a vehicle, you are paying the difference that’s between the selling price and the residual amount spread out through the life of your lease.
  • Here’s an example: Say you lease a $30,000 vehicle that has a 60 percent residual for three years. When the lease ends after 36 months, the vehicle will be worth $18,000. So, your lease will be based on the $12,000 difference. Take that number, divide it by 36 months, and your payment each month (before taxes, interest charges, and fees) is $333.

• Are there any fees? Nearly all lease agreements will have fees, which vary from brand to brand and from bank to bank.
• Ask Questions: Can you lease a used vehicle? How much am I spending over the life of the loan? These are important questions that you should be asking when you visit Valdosta Toyota.
